The student is able to
- make a preliminary assessment of patients in emergency care and assess the urgency of the patient’s need for treatment
- plan and propose methods for examining, monitoring, and maintaining the vital functions of a patient in emergency care, taking into account the needs of the main special groups (geriatric patient, internal disease patient, neurological patient, surgical patient)
- assess the pain and vital functions of a patient in emergency care and anticipate possible changes in vital functions
- document and report on the status and care of a patient in emergency care
- plan and apply methods for the guidance and psychological support of patients in emergency care and their family
- apply the key methods of interaction and consultation in the emergency care environment
- describe and plan multidisciplinary network cooperation in the emergency care environment
