All students are entitled to demonstrate their competence. The recognition and accreditation of prior competence is initiated by the students themselves. The competence is recognised and accredited by the teacher responsible for the studies or another person designated to the position. The assessment is carried out according to the same assessment criteria and, as a rule, same grading scale as that adopted for the corresponding study unit or module. The student is entitled to apply for accreditation of prior competence regardless of where, how and when the competence has been acquired. The student is responsible for demonstrating and verifying their competence and for providing sufficient information.

According to the degree regulations (section 18) “students must be present in the first contact session or notify their teacher in charge if they cannot attend. If they fail to notify the teacher of their absence in the first contact session, their enrollment will be rejected. Another student in the queue may be enrolled in the study unit in the place of the absent student.” (Laurea degree regulations) I
This is a communications course that has active participatory exercises in the classroom, therefore compulsory attendance is expected (80%). In practice, this means 1-2 lessons can be missed. If there are multiple absences, a medical certificate needs to be provided. If the attendance criterion is not met, then the course will need be repeated.
There is a final date for the return of the reflective diary. If this deadline is not met, the teacher will provide a new deadline; if this additional deadline is not met then the course is failed and will need to be taken again. No feedback is provided for late submissions i.e. submissions that did not meet the initial deadline.

Työharjoittelu
Lastentaudit 6 op
Kotihoito 6 op
Äitiyshuolto 1 op
Direktiivit: Lastenhoito & lastentaudit, Kotisairaanhoito (sis.yhteisöhoitoyön) sekä Äitiyshuolto
Kaikki EU-direktiivit tulee olla ehdottomasti suoritettu ennen valmistumistasi.
Direktiivin mukainen harjoittelu tehdään kliinisessä hoitotyössä (lukuunottamatta äitiyshuollon direktiivi)
Minimi harjoittelujakson pituus on 3 viikkoa.
Harjoittelun kokoava teema:
Kliinisen hoitotyön näyttöön perustuva päätöksenteko eri ikäryhmien ja haavoittuvassa asemassa olevien asiakkaiden hoitotyössä
Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat
Työn opinnollistaminen sairaanhoitajan sijaisena. Ohjeet Workseed.
Miten suoritat äitiyshuollon direktiivin?
Vaihtoehto 1. Kliininen harjoittelu äitiyshuollon toimintaympäristössä. Silloin opiskelija varaa yhden lisäviikon harjoittelua ja suorittaa harjoittelussa yhtä opintopistemäärää vastaavan lisätuntimäärän (26,7 h). Harjoitteluviikkoja 4.harjoitteluun varataan tällöin yhteensä 9.
Millaiset harjoitteluympäristöt soveltuvat äitiyshuollon direktiivin suorittamiseen:
Äitiyshuollon yksiköt (esim. lapsivuodeosastot, äitiyspoliklinikat, neuvolat).
Naistentautien vuodeosastot ja poliklinikat, joissa toteutetaan äitiyshuoltoa.
Ensikodit
Lisenssiä varten sairaanhoitajan tutkinnon tulee vastata yhdysvaltalaista Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) -tutkintoa, kattaen kaikki erikoisalat teorian ja käytännön osalta.
Harjoittelun 4 kokonaistuntimäärä on 347 h = 13 op
Harjoittelun info ja reflektio 5 h
Harjoittelun LbD-tehtävän Hoitotyön vuorovaikutuksen taitajaksi 8 h.
Kliininen harjoittelu hoitotyön ympäristössä = 334 h
Harjoittelu toteutuu kotihoidossa sekä perhehoitotyön ympäristössä esim. 4 + 4 tai 3 + 5 eli yhteensä 8 viikkoa.
Harjoittelujaksot voit tehdä haluamassasi järjestyksessä eli voit itse valita, mihin ympäristöön menet ensin.
Lisätietoja opiskelijoille
Edeltävät opinnot
Moduulin 1-4 teoriaopinnot pääosin suoritettu
Lääkelaskut hyväksytysti suoritettuna
Direktiiviharjoittelu edellyttää aina aihealueen teoriaopintoja (esim. lasten hoitotyön direktiivi on mahdollinen vasta IV moduulin opintojen jälkeen).
Jos harjoittelussa työskentelet alle 18-vuotiaiden kanssa, tulee sinun esittää rikostaustaote sovitulle oppilaitoksen edustajalle ennen harjoittelun alkua (kts. erillinen Rikostaustaote -ohje opiskelijaintrasta)
Terveydentilan selvitys ja rokotustietojen esittäminen YTHS:n ohjeen mukaisesti harjoittelun alkaessa.
Tuhkarokkorokotus: kaksi rokoteannosta saatuna tai sairastettu tauti
Hinkuyskärokote dtap (tehoste 5 v välein), jos työskentelee tiloissa joissa hoidetaan alle 1 vuotiaita lapsia. Dtap -rokotus annetaan vasta kun edellisestä dT rokotuksesta on kulunut 2 vuotta.
Vesirokkorokote x 2 tai sairastettu tauti
Kausi-influenssarokote (marraskuu-huhtikuu)
Lisäksi suositellaan B-hepatiitti-rokotusta x 3, joista kaksi ensimmäistä annosta olisi annettuna ennen työharjoittelua.
Huomaa, että rokotus tulee voimaan tyypillisesti 21 vrk sen ottamisesta, joten hoida asia kuntoon ajoissa ennen harjoittelun alkamista!

All students are entitled to demonstrate their competence. The recognition and accreditation of prior competence is initiated by the students themselves. The competence is recognized and accredited by the teacher responsible for the studies or another person designated to the position. The assessment is carried out according to the same assessment criteria and, as a rule, same grading scale as that adopted for the corresponding study unit or module. The student is entitled to apply for accreditation of prior competence regardless of where, how and when the competence has been acquired. The student may also seek accreditation of competence to be acquired on the job as part of their degree (work-based learning). The student is responsible for demonstrating and verifying their competence and for providing sufficient information. Competence is assessed by the student and the instructor receiving the skills practice test (Haavi group in Tikkurila) together. See the student intranet for more information..

If the student has a justified reason for not attending the first contact teaching session or for not notifying the teacher of their intention to be involved in studies in the manner required by the teacher, the student must contact the responsible teacher to agree on participation in the studies. Their registration for the study unit will be rejected, of the student does not notify the teacher of being absent from the first contact teaching session or the reason for their absence cannot be considered justified, Another student who is in line for the study unit can be selected in their place."

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat
Laurean tutkintosäännön mukaisesti ”Kaikilla opiskelijoilla on oikeus osaamisensa näyttämiseen. ”
Kirjallinen tentti 10.2.2025
Uusintatentit omavalintaisena yleisenä uusintatenttipäivänä puolen vuoden sisällä opintojakson päättymisestä eli viimeistään 14.8.2025
Suulliset tentit erikseen sovittavina aikoina, lukujärjestyksestä varattu päivä 14.2.
Opintojaksoon liittyy yksi laajempi palautustehtävä ja lisäksi itsenäiseen harjoitteluun Canvastehtäviä. Tehtävät pitää olla palautettu tenttiin mennessä. Tarkemmat tiedot opintojakson aloituskerralla.
- Sairastaminen, sairaudet, kehonosat
- Potilaan kohtaaminen
- Erilaiset hoitotilanteet

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet
Osaamisen arviointi kohdistuu opetussuunnitelmien tavoitekuvauksiin ja osaamisen taso arvioidaan opinnon toteutussuunnitelmalla ilmoitetun arviointikriteeristön perusteella (Laurean tutkintosääntö). Opintototeutuksella arvioidaan sekä suullinen että kirjallinen kielitaito. Opinnon arvosana koostuu puoliksi suullisen ja puoliksi kirjallisen taidon arvosanasta. Tutkintotodistukseen tuleva ruotsin kielen suullinen taito ja ruotsin kielen kirjallinen taito määräytyvät tämän opinnon perusteella. Arviointi tenttien perusteella.
