Teaching methods
For PROJECT studies, student will conduct development project at Laurea Digital Living Lab, Leppävaara. Studies require active participation in customer projects in teams.
During intensive week 39, full time participation is required from participants. After that, the coaching is available weekly.
The project way of studying requires entrepreneurial mindset, can-do attitude and collaboration skills. Project studies have two parts: A) development project for customer and B) 10-page theory report.
Purpose of A) is to get students familiar with the practical work done in digital service development and marketing projects in companies. Purpose of B) is to get students familiar with academic writing and content production. Both of these are planned to increase the skills in demand by companies and hence employability of Laurea graduates.

For project studies, the group work is real-life digital development project for Laurea's customers&partners. Also, student entrepreneurship can be supported if student wants to advance business idea (e.g. ecommerce as sales agent for external company).
