Teaching methods
This is a campus/city-based implementation and requires physical attendance.
During the international week, Laurea UAS and its alliance partner Université Gustave Eiffel (UGE, France) organize a learning environment for intercultural service experiences.
Appr. 25 students from UGE will join the exchange week which will offer an internationalization-at-home opportunity for Laurea/Finnish students.

Thursday or Friday 23./24.6. Helsinki: This is a volunteer part but very much hoped that Laurea students accompany the French student group and act as cultural hosts in local touristic or cultural services. Participate either one of these days or attend both.
Students workload
Attendance required during thefirst 2 days. Additional independent study.
2 ects equals appr. 55 study hours.

Further information for students
Participation in this study unit can be taken separately as an elective study entity (2 ects).
Alternatively, it can be done as an additional or compensating part during study unit A9308-3005 Cross-Cultural Issues in Service Design (5 ects or 7 ects).
