This course is organized based on the LbD (Learning by Developing) principles. Therefore the students are encouraged to find an organization for their coursework already before the course starts. Additionally, there will be a case company provided in case the students have difficulties in finding one on their own. The coursework will include creating content marketing strategy and content for the chosen organization.
This is an intensive course and requires regular study work from October1 to December 21. Students are required to return assignments according to given schedule.
During the course there will be few webinars which are recorded and for interactive instruction there will be online coaching sessions which are not recorded. The schedule for the webinars and coaching sessions will be announced on the learning platform.

The course consists of 4 modules which give the theoretical basis for the tasks. First three topics have tasks linked to them. In addition, there is a summary task. These need to be completed in time. By completing the first task in time student will be able to continue study unit. Tasks will be graded in 0-5 scale. All tasks must be passed in in time in order to gain the final grade and 5 credits.

Syksyllä 2020 on mahdollisuus suorittaa tämä vapaavalintainen IBS- opintojakso ns. kansainvälisessä lyhytvaihtototeutuksessa. Tällä opintojaksolla voi tietyin edellytyksin korvata (niin halutessaan) opintojakson ”R0219 Service Business Management” tai sisällyttää se vapaasti valittaviin opintoihin.
IBS- opintojaksolle hyväksytään 10 liiketalouden opiskelijaa Laureasta. Laurea tukee alla mainitun matkan kustannuksia Saksaan 250 eurolla ja Karlsruhe UAS vastaa majoituskustannuksista Saksassa.

- Opintojakso (IBS) toteutetaan yhdessä Karsruhe UAS:n (HsKA) kanssa (vastaavia toteutuksia on heidän kanssaan ollut aiemmin vuosittain kaksi kertaa vuodessa lukuvuodesta 2014-2015 lähtien)
- Opintojakson sisältö ja menetelmät pääpiirteittäin:

o Työskentely tapahtuu ”suomalais-saksalaisissa sekatiimissä” eli kaksi saksalaista ja kaksi suomalaista opiskelijaa per tiimi.
