The student is able to
- identify key surface-active and hair care ingredients from the list of ingredients of a cosmetics product and can explain their functions in a cosmetics product
- describe the differences of various surface-active substances and their impacts in products
- evaluate the effects of the properties of surface-active agents on the composition and stability of the product and manufacture basic cosmetic products containing surface-active agents.
- identify the key ingredients of different hair styling products from the list of ingredients and can explain the significance of different ingredients for the functions of the product
