- use a reflective work approach during the appointment work and utilise the necessary evidence-based methods to assess the health of the expectant mother and children and to record data appropriately
- assess maternal and fetal health and recognise health problems and risk factors related to pregnancy and childbirth and guide the patient to treatment in a timely manner
- assess the holistic growth, development, and family situation of a child under school age
- assess and support the mental well-being of a child and parents as well as child-parent interaction
- guide and support families individually and with resource-based methods in self-care, health-promoting choices, and health maintenance, as well as in matters related to a child’s upbringing, taking multiculturalism into account
