Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- plan, implement and evaluate resource-based guidance, working methods and online guidance of an expectant family, varying pedagogical methods and with ethical justifications
- analyse and support factors that protect and strengthen the mental health, resources and health of an expectant family
- assess the health of the expectant mother and the fetus and recognise the risk factors associated with pregnancy and childbirth
- use expertise in health promotion in multiprofessional cooperation at the individual, group and community level
- comply with national and regional health policy guidelines in public health nursing
