Teaching methods
Global Challenges and Possibilities within Social Services, Community Work and Client Counselling will take place online, as an interactive online course, using Zoom and Canvas. We will have a kick off-session and other meetings in Zoom. Kindly notice that this course will be rather intensive, as it only lasts less than a month (5-6.2022). There will be individual and pair/group assignments as well. The onsite part of the course includes attendance at World Village Festival (https://www.maailmakylassa.fi/en/in-english/).
Learning materials and recommended literature
All relevant materials will be provided during the course.
Co-operation with working life and/or RDI
The course in conducted in co-operation with Erasmus+ projects, the Global Village Festival and applying the info from University of Helsinki organized People and Planet International Conference.
Forms of internationality
The study unit is suitable also for exchange students as well as YAMK/Master students. The content for YAMK/Master students will be modified according to their field of studies.

Evaluation methods and criteria
The course is assessed as approved - failed.
Approved performance requires attendance at lectures/workshops and final seminar, as well as completion of all assignments.
