Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- understand the theoretical basis of arts and creative methods within the social context
- use creative methods to empower a sense of community in a multicultural environment
- understand creative expression as an alternative way of communication
- use creative methods to strengthen the inclusion of clients

More extensive supportive study material will be given out in the beginning of the course.
Teaching methods
Creative methods are introduced and facilitated for empowering multi-cultural clients. The course includes workshops, self-reflection and a small project work.
The aspects of language and cultural acquisition, empowerment, creativity and entrepreneurship will all be integrated.
Employer connections
There is an LbD-project implementation which will include entrepreneurial skills in cooperation with cultural providers in the area.
Exam schedules
The course will start on 2.4.2019 and finish on 21.5.2019. Contact lessons will be approximately once a week for a whole day.
International connections
The course will be held in cooperation with cultural providers in the area and will include some international visitors.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
To be able to pass the course the student is required to attend 80 % of the contact lessons and show active participation during the project.
Evaluation will be based on active participation and reflection of the group process and project management.
