Learning outcomes
After completing the project, the student knows
- latest trends, research and phenomena in management and leadership
- how to use research methods to conduct a study on management and leadership in practice
- how to analyze and conclude the study findings
Location and time
The project starts on Wednesday the 30th of January In Tikkurila . Details will be sent by email. Schedule to be confirmed on the first contact day. Attendance on the first contact day is MANDATORY. By being present at the first contact session the student is ensuring his/her seat on the course. After the first contact day no new students are accepted on the course.
Materials
Materials will be given at the first session.
Teaching methods
Students will work in teams of 4 to 7 students. The students themselves will find and engage an organization (e.g. a team in any company, a team in Laurea administrative organization etc.) where they will conduct a study focusing on the motivation, rewarding or well-being in a working environment. The outcome is a team report based on the study followed by a scheduled interactive discussion on the chosen topics and results of all student teams. Theoretical knowledge is acquired by readings.
