Learning outcomes

The student is able to:
- understand how a company can create added value to its customers through supply chain management
- assess the effect of sales, purchasing and the supply chain on profitability
- plan the supply according to the demand
- optimize the efficiency of the supply chain
- define measures for supply chain management

Location and time

Leppävaara Campus, spring semester 2019.
The study unit starts in January and ends by mid May.

Materials

Learning is based on SCM business simulation-game, where e.g. sales and purchasing roles, negotations and decision making is trained.
Materials are included in the game, also lecture and e-book materials are used.

The student is able to:

Further information

During the first class we will explain in detail what we will do during the study unit and we will modify teams for playing SCM game in a web based learning environment.
It is necessary that you attend the first class in order to hear all instructions and also to keep your place in the study unit.
