In this project our aim is to design Employee Experience (Työntekijäkokemus). We learn the latest and best practices and ways to strengthen Employee Experience with Service Design methods (e.g. benchmark, customer persona, customer journey, future skenarios, ideating, value proposition...).

Our case study are the Employee Experiences of Filipino Care Assistants in Finland and of their Finnish collegues. The aim is to help them to integrate into the Finnish working life.

Competences and skills: SERVICE DESIGN, EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE, CO-CREATION, INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATING, CUSTOMER JOURNEY

We will e.g.

- Analyse collected and existing data
- Evaluate critical things and success factors
- Design Customer Journeys & Use Cases
- Design a Digital Handbook or other format to document end result
- Learn critical thinking

We will learn how to do a project with Service Design process and tools. We will replace one Theory Basis with Service Design Course in Laurea Canvas Digital platform and we will only write one Theory Basis on this course.

You will also learn how to work in a multi-cultural environment and increase your understanding of different cultural and communicational aspects (Asia, Europe, other?).

The project is completed in cooperation with a working life partner. Working life partner is KEUSOTE, the Communal Health- and Social Service provider for Central Uusimaa Region Tietoa meistä - Keski-Uudenmaan Sote (keusote.fi) www.keusote.fi.

The enrolled students will develop their competencies related to the Design Challenge in question during this project implementation.

Guidance and working sessions can be viewed in Timetable Engine. Communication practices are agreed on a project-specific basis.

Laurea reserves the right to make changes.
Quality of implementation has been evaluated and self-evaluation report is available.

Toteutuksen tärkeät päivämäärät

Important dates!
- Kickoff (Pre-Brief) Wed 24.8. 16-17.00.
- Weekly Guidance with teacher Wed 12-13.30.

According to the degree regulations (section 18) "students must be present for the first contact teaching session, or they must notify the responsible teacher of their absence to confirm they intend to participate in studies. Registration for the study unit will be rejected, if the student does not notify the teacher of being absent from the first contact teaching session or the reason for their absence cannot be considered justified." The first contact session in a project means the first meeting between the project team and the supervisor (pre-brief).

It is compulsory to participate in the project kickoff meeting so that everyone participating in the project will receive the information on the project task.

Project guidance is offered on a weekly basis. The student can compare the available guidance sessions in Timetable Engine and select those projects/studies that do not overlap.

Kansainvälisyys toteutuksella
