The student is able to:
- apply the legislation and the most common instructions and requirements on emergency preparedness according to the operations of organisations
- use various risk assessment methods in identifying and assessing accident risks
- create and introduce emergency plans and related documents and plans that support the core aims and the different organisational levels of a company
- monitor and assess the level of emergency preparedness in the organisation and develop it

Lähiopetus ja asiakasprojekti
Jos opiskelija valitsee Fyysinen turvallisuus-opintojakson, asiakasprojektin voi tehdä samaan kohteeseen; vaihtoehtoisten projektipäivien 22.3 ja 27.3 päällekkäisyys ei siis estä molempien opintojaksojen suorittamista.
