The student is able to
• define the meaning of evidence-based information and how it is produced, summarised and distributed
• describe the nurse's role in evidence-based care and commit to implementing it
• describe the significance of different types of information in client contacts and evidence-based nursing in health care services
• discuss the significance of human rights, values of nursing, ethical principles and instructions in nursing and their own work
• recognise the existence of ethical conflicts and propose justified solutions to them
• have a positive attitude towards research and evidence-based nursing
