The teaching is conducted at the Campus. A Canvas learning environment is used to support the implementation, but it is important to take part in teaching and guidance on campus according to schedule. The study unit includes working individually and in groups. You will receive individual feedback for assignments from the teacher, and peer feedback may also be utilised.

There are study visits to child welfare facilities and these might be held in Finnish. The teacher will translate main parts to English during the visits. During the course we will also have visitors and they are going to speak in English. There is mandatory presence especially when we have visitors and study visits and when the groups are presenting their works. If you miss a class there will be compensatory assignments. If you miss more than half of the lectures you cannot pass the course.
