Toteutustapa

Partly automated / partly interactive (requires self-directing and teamwork skills) implementation:

The study unit is completed independently following a schedule for returning assignments / by a given deadline. One group work (the Final Assignment) is included. Self-direction is heavily required. The study unit does not include any scheduled lectures: however one Orientation-Zoom which is heavily recommended to secure your smooth and successful study-experience (not mandatory to participate). The Zoom session will be recorded. The study unit requires pro-active participation and commitment to group/team work and sharp scheduling ability: as the Final Assignment (Digital Marketing and Sales plan for a Customer Acquisition phase) is done in 5-7 persons’ groups, and returned on the end of the course. The group work is meant to be started right from the beginning when the groups have been formulated (by the end of September). The group formulation is guided via Canvas-discussion board --> students are expected to be proactive team builders .

Please note: To secure the study place in this course, you must return the Orientation Assignment (Quiz & Introducing yourself via Canvas) by the deadline/ no later than the 11th of September (9.9.2025).Those who are not acceptably done the Orientation Quiz by this deadline, will automatically be rejected from the course.

You will study in a Canvas e-learning environment, in addition to Google and HubSpot -environments. Please make sure are equipped with good internet-connections and laptop; preferably with laptop-camera for your team-meetings. Canvas includes learning material and assignments/tests. In addition to which Google and HubSpot offers certificates and courses greatly appreciated by work life and are therefore implemented as mandatory assignments to this course.

Guiding during the course: guiding is offered via Canvas, and within the Orientation- and Final Assignment Guiding -Zoom session (2 sessions) (please see schedule). Otherwise the instructor is available and contacted via Canvas-messages, email, and Discussion Boards in Canvas. It is important to follow the course announcements and read carefully all the instructions and information in Canvas for you to be able to succeed with your studies.

In this study unit, you will not receive individual feedback from the teacher: the individual feedback is based on the points you get from your certificates and tests. However, as a team, and from the Final Assignment you will get feedback through the evaluation Criteria Chart; which tells you in which level of understanding and execution your group’s work is (group-based feedback). This is done by the instructor in the end of the course. Evaluation in total will be ready by the end of December.

Please note, if this self-directing skills and eLearning requiring course implementation is not for you, please look up for a different type of execution of the same course. Thank you.

Työelämäyhteistyö ja/tai TKI

Work life skills and competences are built through achieving industry certifications during the course.
