The students is able to:
- understand the health care and rehabilitation systems in Finland
- understand the physiotherapist’s responsibilities and rights in Finland
- understand the main concepts and the operating environments of rehabilitation in Finland
- have a professional discussion on the core values in physiotherapy and on the application of the ethical principles of the profession in Finland

Teaching methods

This course is an online course in Canvas learning management system.

You will study both interactive online lessons and also independently with many kind of tasks.

This course is part of the compulsory Pathway studies in Physiotherapy degree programme.

Student workload

The scope of the course is 6 credits and it equals to 162 hours of studying.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Assignments and tests are approved when you have taken into account the instructions and completed the goals as directed in the task / assignment.

Content scheduling

There are two (2) modules in the course. Every module includes participation to the online discussions and independent assignments or tests. All assignments and tasks need to be completed to pass the course.

Remember to mark to your own calendar the deadlines for different kind of tasks. You can't return your assignments after the deadlines.
