Teaching methods
There is a pre-assignment to be completed before the first session.
You will confirm your participation in the study unit by being present during the first session. If you are sick you need to inform the teachers before the first session has begun. There should not be other reasons to be unavailable during the first session.
The rest of the time is work in teams by employing Laurea's learning approach, Learning by Developing. This means that students might need to work even face to face to boost their teamwork.
Students need to be prepared to invest time during the weeks to work with their team members at the same time, meaning that you need to work either online or face-to-face for a couple of hours together. Work cannot mainly be divided, it is meant to be done together.
Students will work on developing new service ideas for clients, by implementing Design Thinking and intercultural theories.
The study unit integrates English language studies, following the Learning by Developing learning model.
