The student is able to
- communicate in English in a professional way in his/her own field of study
- apply intercultural management into practice
- apply intercultural theories into practice
- plan and develop services by applying service design thinking
Toteutustapa

This study unit is carried out mainly virtually (weeks 35-46), but it has two contact sessions during the autumn:

The rest of the time is work in teams by employing Laurea's learning approach, Learning by Developing. This means that students might need to work even face to face to boost their teamwork.
Students will work on developing new service ideas for clients, by implementing Design Thinking and intercultural theories.
The study unit integrates English language studies, following the Learning by Developing learning model.

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet
The study unit employs Learning by Developing, which means that the evaluation considers both the study process as well as end results. The student's English competence influences the grade as well. Students get individual grades from the study unit.
Late or missing returns from tasks influence the grade.
