Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- evaluate prerequisites for customer-oriented operation, and different customer needs and solutions
- act in a customer-oriented manner in sales situations
- show initiative in projects and as a member of a project group in a responsible and goal-oriented way complying with information security regulations and taking advantage of the tools available
- communicate orally and in writing using field-specific concepts
Teaching methods
Opintojakso toteutetaan lähitapaamisilla, työpajoilla, yksilö- ja ryhmätehtävillä jotka arvioidaan.
Jaksolla toteutetaan tiimityönä yritykselle markkinointiin ja asiakkuuksiin liittyvä projekti, jossa analysoidaan yrityksen nykyistä markkinointia ja kehitetään jotakin sen osa-aluetta käyttäen kehitystyön menetelmiä.
Tiimityöllä ja projektin toteutuksella on opintojakson arvioinnissa suuri painoarvo.

Co-operation with working life and/or RDI
Opiskelijatiimi hankkii opintojakson alussa itselleen asiakkaan ts. yrityskumppanin, jolle kehittämisprojekti tehdään.
Tavoitteena on, että opintojakson suoritettuaan opiskelija osaa
- suunnitella tuote/palvelukonsepteja asiakaslähtöisesti
- kartoittaa asiakastarpeita ja kehittää liiketoimintaa asiakaslähtöisesti
- laatia projektisuunnitelman ja toteuttaa projektin sen perusteella. Opiskelija osaa raportoida projektin tuloksista asiakkaalle sekä kirjallisesti että suullisesti.
- käyttää erilaisia projektityöskentelyä edistäviä työkaluja

Important dates
Opintojakson aloitus Leppävaarassa 21.1. 2020 klo 1245.
Läsnäolovelvollisuus on aloituspäivänä, ryhmätöiden esittelyajankohtina ja mahdollisten ulkopuolisten vierailijaluennoitsijoiden aikana. Poissaolo johtaa lisätehtävää joista sovitaan yhdessä.
Tiimit muodostetaan ensimmäisellä kerralla, joten kaikkien läsnäolo silloin on välttämätöntä. Tiimit hankkivat itselleen yhteistyökumppanin kehittämisprojektiaan varten. Yhteistyökumppanin haku kannattaa aloittaa vaikka jo ennen opintojaksona alkua.
Tarkempi ohjelma sekä käytänteet esitellään aloituspäivänä ja julkaistaan myös Optimassa. Muutokset alustavaan ohjelmaan ovat mahdollisia. Muutoksista pyritään ilmoittamaan ajoissa opiskelijoille mm. Optiman tai tuntiperuutusviestien kautta.

Tavoitteena on, että opintojakson suoritettuaan opiskelija osaa
- suunnitella tuote/palvelukonsepteja asiakaslähtöisesti
- kartoittaa asiakastarpeita ja kehittää liiketoimintaa asiakaslähtöisesti
- laatia projektisuunnitelman ja toteuttaa projektin sen perusteella. Opiskelija osaa raportoida projektin tuloksista asiakkaalle sekä kirjallisesti että suullisesti.

BACHELOR'S DEGREE INITIAL STAGE STUDENTS
EXCELLENT grade 5
Students are able to:
• Apply professional concepts expertly.
• Comply with occupational safety instructions responsibly and independently.
• Justify activities using research knowledge.
• Work independently and take initiatives in line with objectives. Operations are often flexible, systematic, development-oriented, creative and active.
• Select the appropriate techniques and models for activities, and justify the choices.
• Act in customer-oriented ways and according to the situation.
• Promote group activities.
• Able to critically apply ethical principles in the subject field in one's conduct and tasks.
GOOD grade 3
Students are able to:
• Apply professional concepts systematically.
• Apply occupational safety instructions in their activities.

Evaluation criteria, fail (0)
Study unit will be graded as failed if not all of the tasks are done, any of them is failed and if the criteria for grade 1 is not reached. Lisäksi opintojakson suoritus on hylätty (HYL), mikäli opiskelija ei saavuta läpäisylle asetettuja tavoitteita määräaikaan mennessä.
