The student is able to:
- analyse and structure their competence identity and starting points as a learner,
- assess their study abilities skills,
- set comprehensive goals for their personal and professional growth, and
- act and reflect, individually and together with others

- Laurea UAS course environments and ground rules of studying
- My personal dreams and goals
- My own strengths and development areas as a student
- Learning techniques (e.g. scheduling, essay, presentation, feedback, peer-feedback, group work, pair work, practical work, Learning by Developing)
- Study and career planning
- International affordances
- Assessing own study process.
