Tavoitteet

The student is able to

- understand the concept of childhood is defined and constructed in Finland from political, institutional and individual perspectives
- understand how the Nordic EDUCARE model is implemented in practice as a combination of education and care
- understand how the idea of life long learning is defined and implemented at different levels of the Finnish education system
- understand how the goals, contents and methods of education are connected with children’s individual areas of interest and needs in ECEC according to the Finnish National ECEC curriculum
- understand how the evaluation and development work is woven into the education system.
