The student is able to
- analyze the role of mediation in criminal justice systems
- present the background theory of restorative justice as well as its values and principles
- compare specific issues in criminal and civil cases mediation and evaluate the impact of mediation on the rights and needs of the parties involved
- apply relevant regulations and a mediation approach, and analyze the possibilities of resolving various conflicts
- apply a reconciliatory approach in professional activities and working in mediation offices
