Personalized feedback on assignments is provided by the teacher, and feedback from industry professionals and peers may also be utilized.
Attendance on designated teaching days is mandatory. Absences, even due to illness or other unavoidable reasons, will result in failing the course. In such cases, the course can be completed when it is next offered.

Alternative completion methods of implementation
According to Laurea's degree regulations, "All students have the right to demonstrate their competencies. The student initiates the recognition and accreditation of prior learning. The competence is recognized and accredited by the teacher responsible for the course or another designated individual. The same assessment criteria and, generally, the same grading scale are used as in the corresponding course or module. Students have the right to apply for recognition of competencies regardless of where, how, or when the competencies were acquired. Students may also apply to have work-based competencies recognized as part of their degree (academic recognition of work experience).
The student is responsible for demonstrating, providing evidence of, and submitting sufficient information on their competencies. The competencies are assessed jointly by the student and the supervising instructor who receives the demonstration." See the student intranet for further details.
Co-operation with working life and/or RDI
The course includes an industry partner or an RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) project.
Important dates
he schedule for assignment submissions is available in the Canvas workspace, and the schedule for contact sessions is visible to students in Pakki.
According to section 18 of the degree regulations, "the student must either be present at the first contact session or inform the responsible teacher of their absence to confirm their participation in the course. Alternatively, the teacher may define another method for the student to confirm their participation in the course. These actions may be required within one week of the course start date. To apply this process, the teacher must inform enrolled students of the procedure, and it must be specified in the course implementation plan. If a student is unable to attend the first contact session or meet the teacher's requirements for course activation due to valid reasons, they must contact the responsible teacher to agree on participation. Enrollment will be canceled if the student does not report their absence from the initial session or if the reason for absence is deemed unjustified. Another student from the waitlist may then take their place."
