- describe the basic concepts related to sexuality and gender diversity
- describe what is meant by sexual rights
- recognize individual sexuality-related needs for guidance in the context of illness and crisis as well as discuss
sexuality-related issues

Further information

The content of the study unit corresponds to the Sexual and Reproductive Health (3 ECTS) module's Sexuality (1 ECTS) component, which is part of the core competencies in nursing and public health nursing education. Thus Laurea's nursing and public health nursing students are not accepted for this study unit. This study unit is suitable as complementary competence studies for degree students in other fields at Laurea, as well as for cross-institutional students, open university students, and pathway students.
