- assess the impact of the national economy on the company's operations
- determine the special features of the Finnish and international business environment in the sector
- describe a company's strategic planning principles
- determine a company's value chain from the manufacturer to the customer
- define the different forms of trade in the beauty sector
- determine the principles of logistics and stock management
- determine the principles of e-commerce
- draw up a business analysis
- communicate in oral and written Swedish in work life situations in their own sector at proficiency level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference and at the level required under section 7 of the Government Decree on Universities of Applied Sciences (1129/2014)
- discuss the studies and tasks of the Bachelor of Beauty and Cosmetics
- discuss and find information about cosmetics raw materials and product development process
- act as a representative of a company/organisation in Nordic operating environments and in cosmetics-related marketing tasks
- use the key Swedish terminology used by professionals in the beauty sector
- develop their interaction, communication, information search and reporting skills in Swedish in professional situations in their own field
