Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- recognise the client’s need for rehabilitation and find out the party who is responsible for their rehabilitation
- select and use appropriate, evidence-based methods for evaluating the client’s work capacity, functioning, operating environment and coping with everyday life
- utilise the ICF framework and use ICF tools when evaluating and documenting the rehabilitee’s work capacity, functioning, and performance in different everyday operating environments
- evaluate the client’s rehabilitation options and their need for rehabilitation and services together with the client and their local community
- utilise the TOIMIA database and current recommendations when evaluating the client’s work capacity, functioning, and performance in their operating environment
- use the GAS method in the setting and evaluation of rehabilitation goals together with the rehabilitee.
