The student is able to
- plan, implement and evaluate public health nursing in school and student health care
- independently carry out various health examinations and screenings of schoolchildren and/or students and assess the need for treatment following ethical principles
- assess the comprehensive growth, development, study ability and family situation of a child and young person of school age
- support the growth and development of schoolchildren and cooperate with parents
- assess and support the well-being of schoolchildren and/or students
- guide and support schoolchildren and students in self-care, health habits and lifestyle changes using resource-based methods both individually and in groups
- promote the sexual and mental health of schoolchildren and/or students
- examine and evaluate the posture of school-age children
- guide and vaccinate school-age children and students
- make use of electronic services and different forms of guidance
- record data appropriately
