The study unit contents at a glance:
- IP networks (subnetting and supernetting. Manual calculation of IP subnets).
- Configuring switches and routers - basics.
- ISO/OSI network protocol model and networks security.

Themes 2-4 are based on expert lectures on contemporary network security related issues. The themes will be published as soon as the guest lectures are agreed and verified. Examples from previous years:
- IPv6 networks and security
- Wireless and mobile networking security issues
- IoT and its' security
- Public cloud security
