- Decision-making process in nursing. Planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care.
- Knowledge and core concepts produced by nursing science as the basis for nursing.
- Use of the most common databases in health sciences
-Information search targeted at a phenomenon or problem in nursing and forming clinical research questions: For example, PICO/PICoa/PCC, mind map or other chosen method
- Reading and utilising scientific publications
- Identifying the main features and stages of the research process and understanding their significance
- Basic philosophical principles of nursing and basic concepts of ethics
- Values, principles and ethical guidelines of nursing.

Alternative completion methods of implementation

There will be a mini test at the end of each lesson on Evidence based nursing. The points obtained from each mini test will add towards the final grade. The mini tests are evaluated numerically. There is no retake for the mini tests.

Students must be present for the first contact teaching session, or they must notify the responsible teacher of their absence to confirm they intend to participate in studies, Alternatively, the teacher can specify a different manner for the student to confirm that they intend to participate in the studies.
