Riskienhallinta ja turvallisuusjohtaminen (10 op)

Tavoitteet

Opiskelija osaa:
- määrittää riskienhallinnalle ja turvallisuuden johtamiselle asetetut vaatimukset, parhaat käytännöt sekä soveltaa niitä
- arvioida ja hallita organisaatioiden riskejä kokonaisvaltaisesti
- suunnitella, arvioida ja kehittää riskienhallintaa ja turvallisuusjohtamista
- johtaa turvallisuustoimintoja normaali-, häiriö- ja kriisitilanteissa
- arvioida ja kehittää turvallisuuskulttuuria

Aika ja paikka

The study unit will start on January 13, 2023 at 12.30 - 15.00 in Leppävaara campus with the orientation module. The schedule of the study unit is available in Canvas and in Pakki. Canvas workspace will be opened about a week before the first classroom teaching takes place.

Opintojakso toteutetaan monimuoto-opetuksena eli opetusta on sekä kampuksella Leppävaarassa että ZOOM- etäyhteydellä.

Kansainvälisyys toteutuksella

International connections appear in the theoretical framework. The study unit deals with international standards of risk, safety and security management. In the videos of the study unit material, international experts will demonstrate how to implement risk-based management.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

There are optional learning assignments from which the student can choose the tasks that are suitable for him/her.
In demonstration of competence, you can prove you have the competence corresponding to your degree’s learning outcomes, irrespective of where, how and when you have acquired it. In the process, it is essential that you identify your competence and describe it in concrete terms and compare it with the learning outcomes of the study unit. If you wish to demonstrate you competence, please contact Soili Martikainen (soili.martikainen@laurea.fi) as soon as the study unit will start.

The calculated work load of the study unit is 270 hours (= 10 credits).

Esitietovaatimukset

Opintojaksolle ilmoittautuvilla tulee olla turvallisuus- ja riskienhallinnan perusteiden riittävä osaaminen, jonka voi hankkia esimerkiksi suorittamalla opintojakson HT00BN79 Yritysturvallisuuden ja riskienhallinnan perusteet (10 op) tai suorittamalla opintojakson TO00BS57 Turvallisuusjohtamisen ja riskienhallinnan perusteet (5 op) avoimessa ammattikorkeakoulussa.
