Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- identify the user needs when planning and designing work stations and facilities
- design a workplace concept, which is effective for the company and satisfying for the user
- conduct acquisitions of work stations and facilities together with the customer and end-user
- act in a change process

Location and time

Most of the lectures will be held in Leppävaara campus

Teaching methods

The course will be conducted as an intensive course during 2 weeks in october. During the course the students will work in teams solving a company case related to new ways of working, spatial concepting and mobile work.

Attending to the intensive weeks is obligatory. After the face to face sessions, students will continue working with virtual assignments. In addition travelling between different locations in metropolitan district is part of the course.
