Tavoitteet

The student is able to
- name the structures of the central and peripheral human nervous system and describe the
principles of their functioning
- define the key characteristics of muscle contraction and the functioning principles of muscles
- explain and describe structural and nervous factors affecting muscle force production
- explain the primary senses and organ systems affecting the regulation of balance
- define factors affecting the strain of articulated structures
- evaluate the impacts of different biopsychosocial factors on the development of mobility at
different ages
- apply the basic principles of motor learning in the guidance of motor skills.

Sisältö

C1_Neurophysiology (2 ECTS credits; 3,4 Chinese credits)
54 hours: 15 offline lessons; 4 online lessons; 35 hours independent work, group work, pair work, practical work.

Content:
- Basics of neurophysiology
- Structures of the central and peripheral human nervous system and the principles of their
functioning

C2_Biomechanics (3 ECTS credits; 5,1 Chinese credits)
81 hours: 12 offline lessons; 9 online lessons; 60 hours independent work, group work, pair work, practical work.

Content:
- Basics of biomechanics
- Balance control
- Key features of muscle contraction and types of muscle work
- Factors affecting the loading of joint structures

C3_Motor learning (2 ECTS credits; 3,4 Chinese credits)
54 hours: 8 offline lessons; 6 online lessons; 40 hours independent work, group work, pair work, practical work.

Content:
- Theories and principles of motor learning and movement
- Applying principles of motor learning in physiotherapeutic guidance
