The student is able to
- Develop an understanding of the unique cybersecurity challenges in healthcare and the importance of protecting sensitive patient data
- Develop the knowledge and skills to assess and manage cybersecurity risks in health systems
- Implement security measures to safeguard network infrastructure, applications, and medical devices
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and employ techniques to protect patient confidentiality
- Develop effective incident response and disaster recovery plans to mitigate and recover from cybersecurity incidents
- Identify how to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in healthcare cybersecurity, while considering ethical considerations and industry best practices
