Tavoitteet
The student is able to:
- write a CV in Finnish
- apply for a job
- be interviewed for a job
- present their workplace
- write work-related emails
- understand and use general work vocabulary
- reach the target level of B1.1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages*

Toteutustapa
Partly at the Leppävaara campus and partly in zoom. Canvas will be used.
The course is aiming at getting to know general work vocabulary, to do one's own CV, to make a job application, to have a job interview, to learn grammar some more, and to practice all those skills during the study unit. The target level is A2.2-B.1.1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus
Attendance: the students have to be present about 80 % of the weekly lessons. It is allowed to be absent 2 times during the term.
According to Laurea mathematics, 5 credits require a workload of 135 hours. About 30 of them will be used for weekly lessons in classroom/zoom. Homework and home studies will take the rest of the hours, however, it may vary depending on students' personal activeness, skills and goals.

Prerequisites: 15 credits or otherwise acquired Finnish skills on level A2.1.-A2.2. in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
