The student is able to
- use planning, analysis and decision-making tools and techniques in strategic planning
- analyze financial statements and business reports and use them as a basis for decisions
- make business decisions in various business contexts
- apply data in decision making

Toteutustapa

This course is an online course. However, there will be Zoom lectures to support the studies. Please see the schedule.
The individual exam of the course is made online.
The Business Simulation Game of the course is played in teams in competition with other teams.

Week 37 Zoom session on Thursday at 18-19. Introduction of the course.
Week 38 Self-study for the individual online exam.
Week 39 Self-study for the individual online exam.
Week 40 Self-study for the individual online exam. DL of team formulation (Optima).
Week 41 Zoom session. Lectures. Individual registration for the Business Simulation Game OnService. Practice round(PR) 1 starting.
Week 42 Individual online exam at 12.30-14. PR1 decisions to be saved by the DL. PR 2 starting.
Week 43 PR2 decisions to be saved by the DL. Round(R) 1 of the actual game starting. Team strategy to be formulated (Optima). Expectations for the game report formulated (Optima).
Week 44 Zoom session. Discussions of the game. R1 decisions to be saved by the DL. R2 starting. R1 memo to be saved by the beginning of the following week (Optima).
Week 45 R2 decisons to be saved by the DL. R3 starting. R2 memo to be saved by the beginning of the following week.
