The students will be able to
justify the significance of preventing non-communicable diseases and their impact on individuals, family and society
justify the approaches and methods of health promotion in client-oriented nursing
plan, implement and evaluate nursing of patients with chronic illnesses and give support for self-care
explain the main diseases and medical grounds for care in the field of internal medicine
plan, implement and evaluate client centred guidance, and justify different approaches and guidance methods in health promotion and nursing patients with long-term illnesses
describe the main national and international recommendations for a healthy lifestyle
justify the good practices and methods used to assess nutritional status
describe the main drug classifications, drugs and medicines used in long-term and acute care and their mechanisms
justify safe vaccination practices
