Learning outcomes

The aim of the test is to ensure the nursing student’s adequate professional language skills of Finnish in more demanding clinical practice.

Written assessment 90 min, oral assessment 90 min

Content and scheduling

The written assessment consists of a case where a patient's situation is presented by pictures and other graphic information. The student needs to interpret the situation according to one's professional knowledge and present the case in Finnish.
The oral assessment is implemented in groups of 3 students. The group will have approx. 15 minutes to plan how to solve a patient case and 10 minutes to present it in Finnish.
