Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- plan, implement and evaluate resource-based guidance and online guidance for families with children, varying pedagogical methods and justifying them ethically
- apply evidence-based health promotion working methods in the public health nursing of a child at a child health clinic
- strengthen and support emotional skills and parenthood in families with children
- analyse and support factors that protect and strengthen the mental health, resources and health of families with children
- assess the child's comprehensive development, safe growth environment and their significance for the child's health and well-being
- use their expertise in health promotion in multiprofessional cooperation at the individual, group and community level
- comply with national and regional health policy guidelines in public health nursing
