    Learning outcomes of the course
    The student is able to
    - apply knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacology and the basics of medication treatment when planning, implementing and evaluating treatment for patients with internal medicine and infectious diseases
    - describe the main drug classifications, drugs’ active ingredients and medicines used in long-term and acute care and their mechanisms
    - justify the practices of safe and aseptic vaccination
    - justify the necessity and benefits of safe vaccines for individuals, communities and society
    - plan, implement and assess administration of intravenous medication and intravenous infusions
    - implement safe and aseptic medication treatment using different routes of administration
