Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- realistically evaluate their abilities to form a professional interaction relationship with clients
- observe and assess changes in vital function and act accordingly
- apply the basics of safe pharmaceutical care
- implement enteral, parenteral and topical drug administration
- administer first aid

Part 1: Basics of nursing care 2 2 cr -Contact Lessons
Part 2: Basics of Medication treatment 2/only exam
Part 3: Medication Calculations 1 cr -Contact Lessons + medication calculation workshops

At least 80% attendace is needed to be able to complete the course. If a student is absent from a contact lesson (20%) they will have to do a make up assignment to show their understanding of the subject matter.
