Learning outcomes
The student is able to
- describe the processes of information systems development, implementation and maintenance
- describe the structure and operational environment of information systems
- identify typical threats related to information security
Teaching methods
The study unit implementation is all on-line. There will be on-line lectures and discussions, recorded lectures and assignments for the students to work on.
Learning materials and recommended literature
The material used during the study unit will be announces in the on-line learning environment (Canvas).
Co-operation with working life and/or RDI
We will have a lecture and discussion meeting with a representative from an IT-company.
Students workload
The implementation is relatively fast-paced and takes place during the first half of autumn semester. The student is expected to be able to schedule his work according to the schedule of the implementation.

Evaluation methods and criteria
Each theme during the study unit is evaluated independently and they have equal weight in the calculation of the final grade. The student needs to show adequate learning and skills in each theme.
Evaluation criteria, fail (0)
The student has not participated in the work during the study unit implementation or has failed to get a grade in one or more of the themes.
Evaluation criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student has participated in the work and shown adequate skills and learning in each theme's assignments.
Evaluation criteria, good (3-4)
The student has participated actively in the work and shown - in average - good skills and learning in each theme's assignments.
Evaluation criteria, excellent (5)
The student has participated actively and in the work and shown - in average - excellent skills and learning in each theme's assignments.
