Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- describe the processes of information systems development, implementation and maintenance
- describe the structure and operational environment of information systems
- identify typical threats related to information security

Teaching methods

This is an on-line implementation of the study unit. The study unit has 5 themes, each with its' own assignments. The themes are scheduled to begin with an on-line meeting.

Learning materials and recommended literature

Most of the essential material is available at the on-line learning environment. Supplemental material will be announced during the implementation.

Co-operation with working life and/or RDI

We will have a visiting lecturer from worklife.

Students workload

The study unit has 5 themes. The student is expected to be able work each theme during its' scheduled time.

Evaluation methods and criteria

The evaluation of the study unit is based on evaluating each theme independently and then calculating the final score as the average of the themes. Each theme needs to completed succussfully.

Evaluation criteria, fail (0)

The student has not participated in the learning process or shown the required learning outcomes during the study unit.

Evaluation criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student has participated in the learning process adequately and shown reasonably in the evaluation of learning outcomes.

Evaluation criteria, good (3-4)

The student has actively participated in the learning process and shown well in the evaluation of learning outcomes.

Evaluation criteria, excellent (5)

The student has actively participated in the learning process and shown excellently in the evaluation of learning outcomes.
