Learning outcomes

Student is able to:
- Analyse and distinguish external and internal aspects of employee experience
- Measure work well-being and productivity in chosen organization
- Develop work well-being and employee experience
- Design workplace strategies for optimal employee experience

Teaching methods

This course will be delivered online via Canvas learning platform and includes four Zoom webinars (See dates below). Students are expected to prepare before the webinars and participate in discussions.

The materials will be listed on Canvas learning platform. Students are also expected to search for other relevant material.

Alternative completion methods of implementation

According to degree regulations “All students are entitled to demonstrate their competence. The recognition and accreditation of prior competence is initiated by the students themselves. The competence is recognised and accredited by the teacher responsible for the module or study unit or another person designated by the director of the UAS unit. The assessment is carried out according to the same criteria and grading scale as that adopted for the corresponding study unit.” For further information visit the student intranet.

Students workload

One credit equals approximately 26.7 hours of work performed by the student. The course will include 3 assignments (individual / group assignments).

Content and scheduling

The course will introduce the basic principals of constructing employee experience. It will cover topics of work wellbeing, work efficiency, productivity of knowledge work, self-management, change management, leadership, organisational culture and workplace design and usability from both organisational and facility management perspectives.
