The student is able to
- plan, implement and evaluate public health nursing among the working age population
- apply evidence-based work methods in health promotion in public health nursing among the working age population
- assess the health-promoting effects of the environment as well as threats originating in the environment
- plan, implement and evaluate the prevention of infectious diseases
- use his or her expertise in health promotion in multiprofessional cooperation with individuals, groups and communities
- analyse and report on the impacts of changes in the operating environment on the health and well-being of the working age population
