The student is able to
- choose the proper methods for development project and give reasons for these choices
- collect empirical data and analyse it
- interpret empirical results
- make conclusions based on empirical results
- recognizes the ethical point of view of the research and development work

Teaching methods
- Contact lessons througout the study unit
- Virtual studies
- There is a compulsory assignment and a student is responsible for his/her studies
- The target is to prepare a student for the thesis process
Having completed the study unit the student is able to:
- Choose the proper methodology for research and development study and provide reasons for his/her choice
- Collect empirical data and analyse it
- Interpret empirical results
- Make conclusions based on empirical results
- Recognizes the ethical point of view of the research and development work
- Evaluate the reliability and validity of research
Location and time
The first contact lesson will be held on the 18th of September. Content and the target of the study unit will be explained in the first contact lesson. It is highly recommended to be present in the first lesson.
Important dates
The schedule of the study unit will be available in Optima work space one week before the course starts.
