- analyse the root causes of infectious diseases
- analyse and implement infection surveillance data in infection prevention
- develop and implement epidemiological tools in infection prevention and outbreak management

• basics on epidemiology and biostatistics and their application in clinical practice and public health

To use concepts of the area of expertise systematically.

To solve problems in epidemiology in health care development and/or innovation activities.

To recognize and analyze focuses of epidemiology in health care development making use of the knowledge base.

To communicate about epidemiology and biostatistics in health care clearly both orally and in writing.

To gather, process, produce and evaluate information about epidemiology and biostatistics in health care critically and widely making use of both national and international scientific sources.
To use concepts of the area of expertise fairly.
