Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- function in an international working environment
- create international contacts and communicate in speech and in writing in a second language
- manage the practical arrangements for travel projects in a second language before, during and after the travel
- recognize cultural differences and take these into consideration
- evaluate and develop intercultural competences and second language skills

Laurea’s BIT Students & Teachers exchange in Coventry University, UK
-BIT Students for study exchange trip for 1 week in Coventry University, UK
-We want to invite BIT students for one week study exchange to Coventry University, UK.
- We are accepting 5-7 Students from BIT Degree Programme at Leppävaara and 5-7 students from BIT Degree Programme at Tikkurila.
-Each student will receive a support of 250,00 € for this trip.
-On this study exchange trip all students will have an opportunity to take part in IT Projects worth of 5 Credits which is to be conducted in cooperation with students from Coventry University
-In schedule, along with project work we also plan social activities so that our students get the exposure of the life in general and culture of the visiting place.
-Pre-requisites: Knowledge of using ICT tools for Project management and communications.
