Toteutustapa

Kirjallinen hakemus on lähetettävä viimeistään 27. toukokuuta vastuuopettajalle (Kristina) sähköpostitse.

Todennäköisesti näistä voisi tänä vuonna toteutua ainoastaan Kiel-vaihtoehto (päivitetty 7.5.2020).

Mikäli sinua kiinnostaa tehdä tämä opintojakso vaihtoehtoisella tavalla, voit hakea kirjallisella hakemuksella intensiiviviikolle, joka toteutetaan VISIT-hankkeen partnereiden kanssa:
Fehmarn-saarella Saksassa 10.-17.10.2020 (suunniteltu)
tai
Vis-saarelle Kroatiaan sksyllä 2020 (päivämäärät tarkentuvat myöhemmin).
***Koronatilanteen vuoksi päivämäärät eivät ole varmoja. Voimme haastatella ja valita opiskelijoita, mutta tarkkaa tietoa matkustamisista ei voi olla, ennenkuin matkarajoitukset poistuvat näiden osallistuvien maiden osalta. Siinä tapauksessa, että fyysistä intensiiviä ei tehdä, sen tilalle saattaa tulla verkossa toteutettava live-toteutus.***
Mukaan tulee opiskelijoita Laurean lisäksi Kalmarista, Ruotsista; Kielistä, Saksasta; Zagrebista, Kroatiasta sekä Aberdeenistä, Skotlannissa. Asuminen ja ruokailu ovat maksuttomia mukaan valittaville opiskelijoille. Matkat maksetaan, mutta ne järjestetään keskitetysti, sillä ne kuuluvat EU-tuen piiriin, ja noudatamme tiettyjä sääntöjä. Intensiiviviikon lisäksi opiskelijalle tulee ennakko- ja jälkitehtäviä, jotta saadaan 10 opintopistettä suoritettua.

Kielissä, Saksassa toteutetaan 8.-14.11.2020 intensiiviviikko, jota Laurea tukee rahallisesti pienellä summalla, mutta maksettavaksi jää jotain kuluja myös opiskelijalle. Tämän viikon ohjelmaan kuuluu lisäksi ennakko- ja jälkitehtäviä.

Lähetä englanninkielinen hakemuksesi sähköpostilla vastuuopettajalle (Kristina) viimeistään 15. toukokuuta. Kerro hakemuksessa itsestäsi, ja miksi sinut tulisi valita kansainväliselle intensiivijaksolle. Hakijoita haastatellaan ennen valintoja.

Nämä intensiivitoteutukset soveltuvat ainoastaan Laurean omille tutkinto-opiskelijoille. Ensisijaisesti mukaan voi hakea marata-opiskelijat, mutta myös muita voi ottaa mukaan esimerkiksi Kielin intensiiviviikoille.

There are three different options:
Teachers who interview will make the selections based on the written applications and interviews on who will be selected for which intensive week of those who are selected.
**please note that due to the pandemic we cannot guarantee any implementation yet concerning the intensive weeks. These might be replaced by online intensive weeks in case the travels cannot be organized. All dates are estimates and might change!!**

1) intensive week on Vis island, Croatia during the autumn.
This is part of the VISIT project and travel, basic accommodation and meals are covered for the students participating. Other students and teachers come from Sweden, Scotland, Germany and Croatia. Students are required to carry out pre-and post-assignments in order to receive 10 ECTS for the course.
2) intensive week on the island of Fehmarn, Germany during 10-17 October 2020. This is part of the VISIT project and travel, basic accommodation and meals are covered for the students participating. Other students and teachers come from Sweden, Scotland, Germany and Croatia. Students are required to carry out pre-and post-assignments in order to receive 10 ECTS for the course.
3) intensive week in Kiel, Germany during 8-14 November 2020
Students participating in this intensive week will get financial support from Laurea to help cover the costs in Germany. The support does not cover all costs, but it should cover at least the flights and maybe some more. Also this intensive week requires students to carry out pre- and post assignments in order to total 10 ECTS.

The study unit is carried out by implementing Learning by Developing. This means that both the study process and the end results influence the grade. Missing or late tasks returned will influence the grade. In addition, the student's skills in English will influence the grade. Each student gets an individual grade.
